Maison Des Artists is luxury housing compound that opened its doors in 2008. It’s one of the newest high-end compounds in the area, and it consists of 15 luxury apartment buildings, a residents-only club house, and a range of onsite facilities.
Each apartment building is new and well-maintained, with Gatsby-like ironwork above the entrances and spacious lobbies. The onsite club house takes center stage and is framed by two pavilions and lush greenery. A young children’s education center is cleverly placed within the club house itself, and the club house’s other offerings include a laundry service center, an indoor swimming pool, a gym, yoga studio, karaoke room, game room, etc.
The compound has a high greenery rate, featuring picturesque ponds with lily pads and encircled by potted plants. It also has wide, tree-line walkways, elegant square column posts, and bridges. An onsite team works continuously to maintain the compound’s park-like feel.

Maison Des Artistes is situated in Gubei, an affluent residential area in Changning District. It’s home to a large community of expatriates stemming mostly from other Asian countries, though there are also expats from Europe and North America. One the area’s biggest draws is the number of international schools in the vicinity. Line 10, Yili Road metro station is only about five minutes’ walk away. The Hongqiao Airport is within convenient reach and only takes about 25-30 minutes by car or metro. Jing’an Temple, the Bund, and Lujiazui all take about 30 to 40 minutes.
